Rachael Powell/Rae

"I am passionate about promoting good physical and mental health in adults and children.  Our health is our greatest asset and should always be prioritised."

Rae started her working life as a Nursery Nurse. She qualified 1998. She then specialised in children with Special Educational needs and became a Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO).  After that Rae became a family support worker, offering one-to-one support and group work to families in the local community which then led her to do her social work training.  During her social work career, Rae has had a broad range of experience working with adults and children and has been working predominantly in mental health since 2010.  

Rae had her first baby in 2015 and her second in 2017.  She spent time at baby groups and saw first hand the benefits these groups can have on the whole family and this inspired her to train with birthlight to deliver baby massage and baby yoga.  She has trained with Rainbow Yoga a school recognised internationally to qualify to work with families, children and teens.  Rachael is currently undergoing her adult yoga training so expect adult yoga to be available soon. 

Rae's groups nurture the bonds in the family.  Her groups are relaxed, fun, friendly, inclusive environments to connect with your family.
